DB2アドバンスト・エキスパート - 「DBA」：
DB2ならびにDBAの高度の専門知識と経験をもち、社内外において、DB2の専門家として支援活動を行うことができるレベルです。

DB2 エキスパート - 「管理」：
DB2 の管理者として、データ移動、回復、ユーティリティ構成、および、権限と特権に関する詳しい知識を保有するレベルです。

DB2 エキスパート -　「開発」：
DB2 のアプリケーション開発者として、各種プログラミング方式の区別、組み込み静的SQLと動的SQLの利用に関する知識、複合データベース・オブジェクトなどの詳しい知識を保有するレベルです。

DB2 エキスパート -　「ビジネス インテリジェンス(BI)」：
ビジネス インテリジェンスに関する、世界初の認定です。 ビジネス インテリジェンス全般の知識、ソリューション構築のための要件定義、データの抽出や変換方法、データ・ウェアハウス管理技法とプロセスなどに関する知識を保有するレベルです。

DB2 エンジニア：
DB2 エントリーに加えて、DB2 のインストール、管理、セキュリティに関する基本知識から拡張SQLに関する知識、データベースの並行性など、一歩進んだ知識までDB2 エキスパート以上のスキルの方の指導を受けながら、データベースの基本管理、SQLの操作ができるレベルです。

DB2 アドバイザー（日本IBM国内認定）：
RDB の基本概念、DB2 の基本概念、構成要素、基本機能についての知識が必要です。 また、基本 SQL に関する知識と、データベースオブジェクトに関する基本知識が含まれます。DB2 エンジニアのアシスタントとして指導を受けながら DB2 上で、SQL を用いたデータの基本操作ができるレベルです。
